Hooray last blog

Well this is the official last blog n it will bw about our last paper! So I chose to write about WwII andthat dropping the atomic bomb may have ended the war but was it worth the casualities and devastation of that nation? We could have had an even higher death rate of soldiers on both sides so I guess I think it worked but morally feel weird saying it was the right thing to do.

Almost the end!

Well class is almost over and it's warm out today...after the blizzard with half dollar size snowflakes! I am almost done with my papers and I can not wait till summer time. Class has dragged on a bit with the snow days but we have one month to go, nice sharing intellectual chat and learning various areas of English, everyone have a good summer.

Paper #3

The book Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde was an ok book and I was going to write about the multiple personalities disorder but i started researching serial killers and it was odd how i could not find any with this specific disorder so i chose Ted Bundy because he was an attractive intelligent man studying law and politics and seemed normal to all who knew him but he had an alter side that was psychotic to no end and he reminds me of Dr.Jekyll and I also found a movie that is based on facts and no added guesses so it was interesting and morbid! It gives you a new perspective of who we live amongst and it is scary.

3rd small paper?

I dont know which handout to write about! The baby eating one freaked me out because I thought it was real and I get the point now that I now its not but I cant write 3 pages about it. I think ill use the lottery one because I seen a movie called the stoning of sonya something with jim cavezel and it reminded me of this and its insane to think people did this. But still 3 pages...ouch

Frankenstein paper over!

finally the frankenstein book and paper is behind us! It was a good book dont get me wrong but it feels great to move on and start a new book and project! I have almost completed my independent project as well due to the snow day and spring break.

Independent project ideals

I have been  pondering what to do for this project so i can pick something and get started so its one less paper to write! I am going to choose a musician or artist so i can expand my cultural endeavors since i rarely leave Lapeer let alone Michigan.

Frankenstein

I am officially finished reading Frankenstein and i actually liked it a lot! i am a huge horror and suspense fan so i really got into it and also felt bad for the monster and understood his anger and sadness and in a way the book was his tale of revenge on victor for creating him and how he wanted to make him suffer by making victor chase him to the coldest depths on earth! I think all films that portray him as the big blueish guy with corks in his neck is ridiculous and maybe they were too scared to actually portray him as the book described but i wish someone now would make one more true to the book.
